Blocking Out the Noise:
Harnessing In-Store Experience Trends to Deliver Results That Last

About The Webinar

As retailers settle into 2019, improving the shopper experience continues to be a top priority. With fast-moving technology, challenges around staffing, and consumers’ ever-changing demands, how are store operators to separate what’s essential from the noise?

In this webinar, learn how to implement practical in-store experience trends to more meaningfully engage your shoppers. Join Rebecca Horton, Founder of Paper Plane and former Manager of Human Experience Design at Lowe’s, and host Joanna Rutter, Content Marketing Manager at Dor, as they discuss:

  1. The importance of trends informing retail planning
  2. Consumer insights impact on district- and store-level management
  3. Experience design and sales associate management tips
  4. Building a workforce that responds to customer demands

Rebecca is an outgoing designer and serial entrepreneur who is passionate about the power of well-designed experiences and environments to transport and thrill audiences. She started her first business, Trestles, in 2012 while finishing a masters at Savannah College of Art and Design. Paper Plane is her latest brainchild, focused on re-imagining customer relationships through brick and mortar pop-ups. A natural innovator, Rebecca is always pushing the envelope of what is possible. Her projects have included everything from designing and launching Lowe’s DIY learning program, UpSkill, to leading a customer journey mapping program for MIT’s Sloan School of Management, to facilitating a workplace design workshop with Red Hat.
